Welcome to My 1960 Skoda Felicia

This web site is a result of my passion for the automobile. From growing up in Detroit and working in the automotive industry for 15 years (5 with Chrysler followed by 10 with Ford) to Woodward cruises and visiting the old mansions of the Dodge brothers, Fords and Fishers. I grew up in a family that went thru Beetles, Karman Ghias, and Buses to my early driving years in Cutlasses, Ambassadors, Squarebacks, Conquests, Cadillacs and Mustangs. One particular memory was when I was a petroleum engineer (ok, I pumped gas at a Mobil station) and always heard the old male customers saying they wish they had kept their first car. I took that to heart so I actually did, namely my 1972 Olds Cutlass that I bought for $1400 in 1981 that is still in great shape! I later picked up a 1975 Cadillac El Dorado, which comfortably seats 25.

Over the years, however, I have developed an interest in the not-so-common vehicle. What you’ll see here is my latest focus, my 1960 Skoda Felicia, an Italian influenced vehicle from Czechoslovakia you will almost never see on the streets in the U.S. If you do, be sure to relish the sight. It truly is a work of art.

I hope you enjoy the ride thru this web site. Filled with images, reference material, and documentation, all of these pages are sure to please if you are a Skoda enthusiast as much as I am. Would be glad to hear what you think.
